1/27/12 The Whelen modifieds rolled into Thompson Speedway this week for a 100 lap race. The race was heavily contested up front and Brent Sweet came out on top when the checkered flag fell. Brent was followed by Justin Strumpf, Max Zachem, Wayne Wildermuth, Ben Althen, Michael Jaworecki, Chris Ciriello, Phil LaCasse, Mike Calder and finishing 10th was Danny Rubino. Next week the All Star Whelen modifieds go to Seekonk Speedway. 1/21/12 We will be updating the website shortly. Lots going on and just not enought time in the day to get everything done. The current schedule is in the forum. Please keep checkin there as well as here for updates. 1/18/12 Race #2 at Motor Mile Speedway is in the books. Justin Strumpf came out on top and made it 2 wins in a row. He was closely followed by Scott Bryant and then Chris Ciriello, Wayne Wildermuth, Ryan Curran, Keith Joseph, Kenny Minter, Jr., Phil LaCasse, Phil Ellis and rounding out the top ten was Max Zachem. Next week we travel back north to run the high banks of Thompson Speedway. 1/15/12 DRIVERS Please remember to register with Race Points Manager (RPM) in the forum before next weeks race Also get those car files to me. 1/11/12 Well, the Waterford Speedbowl showed its tue colors for race #1 of the All Star Modified Tour. It was a rough start for the 16 competing drivers as the track was very slippery and not many could get a grip on the track. Justin Strumpf was able to pick up where he left off last season with winning the season opener. Brent Sweet was 2nd followed by Chris Ceriello, Wayne Wildermuth, AJ Griffin, Keith Joseph, Rick Underwood, Zac Thomas(R), Max Zachem and rounding out the top 10 was Don Caddick(R). Next week the mods visit Motor Mile Speedway in Radford Virginia. 1/10/12 Tomorrow Wednesday 1/11/12 marks the first race of the 2012 season at Kickin Asphalt Racing Series.....be sure to have your paints in before 10pm 1/10/12 so they can be included in the set. If you have not signed up yet, it is not too late. Get involved and get on the track with us and kick some assphalt.
